Narrative for Health Reform

Advocates have used health related stories of 'real' people. We've used them to help engage the public with the issues we are addressing and to illustrate a point. But what should these stories all be building towards? The 'bigger' picture-a health reform narrative.

Herndon Alliance joined forces with Families USA, AARP, Drew Westen, and Lake Research Partners to develop health reform narratives, based on research, that resonate with the values of the American public.

Immigration Impacts Health Reform

Herndon Alliance’s first round of research, “Immigration + Health Reform,” tells how to push beyond the immigration issue as a barrier to health reform. While the research has told us how to deflect the immigration argument against reform, our next round of research will identify how to talk to the public about quality affordable health care for all, including all immigrants.

Small Business Engagement + Communications Project

The Herndon Alliance and the Small Business Majority have partnered in developing a new communications related project. Herndon's research says the public cares about the well-being of small businesses and wants them to be involved in reform efforts.
